> Employee Recognition Programs
Middle Tennessee State University is proud of all of our staff
employees who work to help provide an environment, which supports
our students and faculty in their learning and teaching endeavors.
Individual employees who make outstanding contributions and
demonstrate excellent performance are acknowledged periodically
through MTSU Employee Recognition Programs.
Secretarial/Clerical employees are recognized quarterly with an
annual Employee of the Year selected from one of the quarterly
recipients.
In addition, there are annual awards given in each of the following
categories:

Administrative
-
Classified
-
Technical/Service
Each annual recipient receives a monetary and commemorative
gift.
To Nominate an Employee:
Students, faculty and fellow staff are encouraged to nominate
full-time employees who have a minimum of one year of service at
MTSU and work in an administrative or classified employee group.
Nominees should also meet the following criteria:

Demonstrated job skills
-
Demonstrated written and oral communication
skills
-
Enthusiasm and initiative in job performance
-
Pursuit of professional development
-
Projection of a positive image of MTSU
To nominate an employee complete the
nomination form
and forward it to Human Resources Services ING 204, Employee
Relations Box 35, attn. Trina Clinton.
